广州BIS剑桥IGCSE课程培训班

【课程概况】

在关键阶段，1年级学年末（即6岁）有一项关于自然拼读的测试，在7岁时（即2年级学年末）则安排英语和数学标准化测试。在关键阶段2，6年级学年末（即11岁），需额外增加科学测试。 自然拼读评估在六月进行，届时学生将向老师大声朗读40个单词。这样便于及时发现学生们的拼读能力,同时我们的老师会评估学生们是否需要额外的拼读帮助。如果学生的考核不理想,他们将在第2年重新考核一次。学生将在6月进入到关键阶段2学年末时参加考试。

【课程简介】

英语、数学、科学-生物、物理、化学、中文、艺术与设计、音乐、体育、计算机科学、STEAM、STEAM课程是一门独立的外部课程。

【剑桥进阶测试】

作为剑桥课程的-部分，BIS遵循剑桥进阶考试结构。这些是帮助检查学生的知识、技能和理解的内部评估。BIS教师将对关键阶段3、4和5的学生的核心科目、英语(作为第-语言或第二语言)、数学和科学进行评分。

【剑桥阶段评估测试】

Danielle studied at the University of Derby for both her undergraduate degree in English and History and her PGCE which she completed in 2019. During her PGCE year she taught in a variety of different schools and contexts, the final one being a school where the majority of her students were EAL. This is what encouraged her to look for teaching jobs abroad and she decided to move to China and teach EAL in Guiyang, Guizhou. This allowed her to really focus on teaching phonics and the language to L2 speakers. Danielle moved to CIS (another CIEO school) in March and has been teaching Grade 1.

Jacqueline Mchunu

Ms. Jacqueline Mchunu’s teaching career started in 2015 in South Africa, before teaching in China. As an international teacher, she has accrued several teaching certificates and is on route to completing her PGCE. Jacqueline enjoys creating a welcoming and fun learning experience and designing stimulating lessons that pique the students’ interests. As a South African national, she speaks some of her home country’s languages fluently; her grasp of diversity and love for travel have influenced her eclectic worldview both in and outside the classroom.

Mr.Matthew Carey is originally from London, United Kingdom, and has a Bachelors Degree in History. His desire to teach and help students grow, as well as discover a vibrant new culture, brought him to China, where he has been teaching for the past 3 years. He has taught a range of students from Primary to Secondary level, and has taught in both bilingual and international schools in China. He has experience with the IB curriculum, which has been hugely beneficial for developing his teaching methods and style.
